Phil & I are making a bunch of tracks on beats he's cranking out of an SP-202, and for fun I've been taking song topics from people.

I posted a thread on the social media that said "describe an emotion there's no name for". Most of the topics I got, the best ones, actually, seemed to be responding instead to something like "name a word in another language we don't have a direct translation for in English".

The topic I went with for this song was one from the latter category, specifically the German "kummerspeck", or "grief bacon", meaning, essentially, the food you eat when you're sad.

While I'd never expected to do a "COVID song", getting a topic about, essentially, stress eating, right at the kickoff of a the shelter-in-place order, when it seemed like the only thing I had to look forward to was meals, it forced my hand. I made a COVID song, y'all. Hope you enjoy
